A SRBW™ session can take as little as 60 minutes, to get a complete release of a particular chronic health issue(s). A session can be done 1 on 1 in person, in a group, as well as virtually online. |
HOW IS SRBW™ DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BREATHING PATTERNS AND MODALITIES?

WHAT ARE THE MAIN CONTRAINDICATIONS OF BREATHWORK?
Are there contraindications to doing Breathwork?
Breathwork can result in intense physical and emotional release. Therefore, it is not advised for persons with a history of:
• cardiovascular disease, including angina or heart attack,
• high blood pressure
• glaucoma
• retinal detachment,
• osteoporosis,
• significant recent physical injuries or surgery.
• Severe Mental Illness
• Major Medications
• History of Seizures
******Pregnant women are advised against practicing Breath-work.
******Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician.

Personal classes allow for one-on-one training, individual modifications (everyone is built differently) and assistance in postures. One-on-one support in a pose can include help with stability, resistance & strengthening, and safer deepening of a posture.
All classes can be modified for individual student needs; possible styles that I can offer you are: Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Prenatal Yoga, Mom & Baby Yoga (1 - 14 months), Balance Yoga and Restorative Yoga.

"work-life balance" workshop
This workshop - 1.5 hours long - is designed to get people thinking of "work-life balance" in a new way.
Life. Balance. Work.
It starts off with a short survey, which address the key elements of balance: sleep, nutrition, family / friends, fitness, emotion, spirit, & intellect.
Followed by a 30-40 minute presentation on personal development, intention setting, focus, and strategies to help balance, de-stressing, improve health and progressing in a positive direction. The later portion of the presentation gives practical yogic lifestyle hacks to implement in the present, and help work towards balance in the body, mind and lifestyle.
A yogic practice can help improve all of the elements of balance, while helping to enhance performance, de-stress, improve physical & mental health, help with personal development and assist in self-exploration.

This final portion of the presentation will physically lead participant through a few simple yoga poses, guided breathing exercises and easy meditation to ensure everyone understands the concepts and feels comfortable implementing them on their own time.
Participants are encouraged to ask questions throughout the workshop, and a final group discussion is to ensure no questions go un answered and new ideas can be shared.
